What is the Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling and Waterproof King Mattress Pad for Hot Sleeper, and is it a mattress or a mattress protector?
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling and Waterproof King Mattress Pad for Hot Sleeper is a king-size mattress cover, not a mattress; the listing highlight describes a five-layer mattress cover, and the size is listed as King. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling is presented as a cover that adds comfort and protection, rather than as a sleep surface sold on its own.
Its listed features include cooling, moisture-wicking, quilting, washability, and waterproofing. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing also describes a five-layer design. Those are product descriptions, not independently verified performance results. No named alternative products or buyer-review claims are available in the supplied information, so a comparison with other covers or a summary of buyer sentiment isn’t possible. If you’re deciding whether it matches your needs, the available details to weigh are the listed cover format, king sizing, features, and care instructions.
What are the dimensions and mattress-depth capacity of the king-size version?
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling king version is listed as 78×80, while the stated mattress-depth range is 8–21 inches. These are the listing’s fit figures; they don’t establish fit for dimensions or mattress constructions beyond what’s stated.
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing describes deep pockets for mattresses within that 8–21-inch range. It does not provide other measurements in the supplied claims, such as the cover’s weight, thickness, or dimensions beyond the listed 78×80 size. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling is therefore best assessed using those two published fit details, without assuming additional capacity. If your mattress depth falls outside the stated range, the available information doesn’t confirm that the cover will fit. The listing supplies no further measurements to resolve that uncertainty.
What materials and construction provide its cooling and waterproof features?
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing describes a five-layer construction with a breathable cooling microfiber top, soft blended filling, a waterproof TPU layer, and quiet knit fabric. It also lists the fabric composition as 90% cooling nylon and 10% spandex. The claims describe materials and construction, but don’t independently verify how they perform.
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling is promoted for cooling and temperature regulation, including a stated 3–5°F reduction in skin temperature; that figure is a product claim, not a verified test result. The listing calls the waterproof layer 100% waterproof. Treat both benefits as manufacturer listing claims rather than confirmed outcomes. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing also identifies microfiber as the material type. The supplied details don’t include independent testing that would confirm cooling, moisture management, or waterproof performance under particular conditions.
How much does the king-size model cost, and what warranty or return policy does it include?
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling king mattress pad is listed at $54.99 and marked In Stock. Those details describe the supplied listing information; availability and price can’t be confirmed beyond it.
The supplied claims don’t include warranty terms or return-policy details, so those are unavailable here. Before choosing the Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling, you’d need to check the applicable listing or seller information for those terms; the provided details don’t establish how long coverage lasts, what it covers, or whether returns are accepted. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling has no listed warranty or return period in the information available for this review. Don’t infer either from its washable construction or waterproof description: neither establishes a warranty or a return entitlement.
How do you install and wash the mattress cover without damaging its waterproof layer?
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling has a 360° full-wrap design, pull-on closure, and 1.6-inch elastic straps, according to the listing. Those details describe the intended fit and installation; no separate fitting instructions are supplied.
For care, the Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing directs you to machine-wash it on a gentle cycle in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. It also says to wash separately from items with zippers or metal parts. The listing warns against dry cleaning, ironing, and bleach. Follow those stated directions if you want to avoid going beyond the care guidance provided. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling claims include a TPU waterproof layer, but no separate instructions for preserving that layer beyond the listed washing and drying directions are available.
Does the cover make noise, trap heat, or change the feel of the mattress?
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing claims quiet waterproofing without the crinkling sounds associated with traditional waterproofing. It also describes cooling fabric and temperature regulation, including a claimed 3–5°F reduction in skin temperature. That reduction is a product claim, not a verified test result.
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling is described as soft in the specifications, and the listing says the blended filling provides lightweight support. These descriptions may help you understand the intended feel, but they don’t establish how the cover will change a particular mattress. No first-hand testing or buyer reviews are supplied to confirm noise, heat retention, or changes in mattress feel. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling claims should therefore be read as listing statements, not confirmed outcomes in use.
Will it fit a king mattress with a pillow top or an adjustable bed?
The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing gives a mattress-depth range of 8–21 inches and describes a 360° full-wrap design as fit guidance. The king dimensions are listed as 78×80. These figures are the available basis for judging whether the cover may fit your bed.
The supplied listing claims don’t specifically confirm compatibility with pillow-top mattresses or adjustable beds. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling should not be assumed to fit either type solely because its depth range and wrap design are stated. Check your mattress dimensions against the listed size and depth range, while keeping in mind that the available information doesn’t address those bed styles. The Unikome Ultra Soft Cooling listing provides no additional fit guidance for pillow tops or adjustable bases, so fit beyond its stated dimensions and depth capacity remains unknown.
